Despite initial setbacks and challenges, Cimmer’s perseverance led him to become one of the first North Americans to qualify for a Red Bull Crashed Ice competition in Europe.
Driven by his passion for the sport, Cimmer embarked on a mission to make Ice Cross a recognized and professionalized endeavor. He founded World Ice Cross Inc. in 2014, dedicated to expanding the sport, educating participants, and organizing events. As the President and CEO of the World Ice Cross League, Cimmer has invested significant resources into developing the sport and ensuring its sustainability. Cimmer established multiple partnerships with local communities, such as Battleford, to ignite enthusiasm for the sport among fellow locals.
