Looking for an exciting outing the whole family will remember? Say no more — Ice Cross is coming to Bloomington on April 30, 2025, and it’s got everything: speed, lights, music, and non-stop action on ice.
At Grossinger Motors Arena, families will get to witness a one-of-a-kind event where skaters of all ages race head-to-head on an indoor ice track filled with twists, turns, and thrills. It’s competitive, it’s safe, and it’s incredibly fun to watch — or even join!
The event is part of the World Ice Cross League, founded by former hockey star Tim Cimmer, who wanted to create a sport that kids, teens, and adults could all enjoy together. Ice Cross is all about adrenaline, inclusivity, and family-friendly excitement.
There are three age groups for racers, so even the young ones can get in on the fun:
- 13 & Under
- 14–17
- 18 & Over
Whether you’re there to cheer on your child, challenge yourself, or just soak in the action as a family, this event is built for everyone. And with music, lights, and high-energy commentary from Brad Jay — a seasoned announcer from events like the Olympics and X Games — the atmosphere will be electric.
Special guest Dylan Moriarity of the Turbo Twins will also be racing — bringing serious skills and entertainment to the ice!
Athlete Entry: $30 (17 & under), $50 (18+)
Tickets: $35 for adults, $25 for youth and 55+
So grab your mitts, bring the whole crew, and come experience a night of unforgettable fun — Ice Cross style.
